Maj. Dr. Mrs. Tapti Bhattacharjee, Senior Nursing Academician, is No more. She passed away on 06/10/2023 at 4 am, after fighting prolonged illness in Pune. She was commissioned in 1975 from College of Nursing AFMC ( Batch 1971-1975). Considering that she is the greatest academian in the field of nursing is invaluable. Mam, has always demonstrated unwavering dedication, wisdom, and leadership that inspired us all. A true legend, educator and a wonderful motivator, always encouraged by her loving words and actions. An exceptional nursing leader, and a very fine person. She had brought name and fame to College of Nursing, Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune, which is one of the earliest private colleges in Maharashtra and India.
Maj. Dr.(Mrs.) Tapti Bhattacharjee mam has supervised many Ph.D Studendts and also organized various National and International conferences, Referesher training programme of GFATM.
Fourth issue of NRSI (Nursing Research Society of India) journal has been published by College of Nursing, BVU edited by Dr. Tapti Bhattacharjee (Editor, NRSI Journal) in the month of Nov 2011.
Her loss is truly profound one, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. She will be remembered by the Nursing fraternity in India.
In this difficult time, our thoughts and condolences go out to her family and loved ones. May her soul Rest in Peace.
