Frontline COVID warriors:

Emergency staff

It gives me great contentment and pride when I walk through the ward corridor in these Hazmat suits. It also reminds me of my responsibility as frontline warrior and keep myself safe at any situation. It’s an inevitable war which takes away my energy, physical fitness and deprieves me of good quality food and sleep. The retained carbondioxide and lost fluid from my body can hurt me physically but my mental strength is augmented by the smile of recovered patient. Proud to be a Nurse !

Dear Alka, You communicated your tiredness and motivation in path physiology language. Hope other nurses also motivated to write their experiences in their own language and style. Good to see young nurses sharing their experiences
