Webinar: Young Nurses Initiative from Global North – Experiences from India and Uganda
In 21st century, health for all still is a statement than a reality. Sustainable Development Goals are planned to be achieved by 2030. Thirteenth Health Work plan 2018 suggested triple billion plan to achieve these goals. Health workforce plays a vital role in achieving these targets. Health workforce shortage is a global phenomenon. Brain drain from the economically developing to developed countries add to the existing crisis and impart snag to achieve the SDG 2030. Health for all is possible when the health workers reaching beyond their bound duties and reach out to the needy population. The current webinar introduces young nurse and midwife initiatives from India and Uganda to share their experiences with others. This webinar is a collaborative initiative of Nursing Now, Innovative Alliance for Public Health (IAPH), and MILCOT. We invite you all to participate and support initiative by young health workers. Aim: To visualize and support young nurse’s and midwife initiatives around the globe.
